DHS Homeland Security officer on leave after revealed she worked for PLO and wrote 'F--k Israel' post - NY Post - SCW Newswatch

The New York Post reports on the forced leave of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services asylum officer Nejwa Ali after it came out that she has worked for the Palestinian Liberation Organization and wrote obscene anti-Israeli posts online. USCIS is part of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and Ali holds an adjudicatory position that vets incoming foreign aliens seeking to enter, and remain in, the United States.

"A[] ... Department of Homeland Security [asylum official] has been put on leave after it was revealed that she [formerly served as] a spokeswoman for the Palestine Liberation Organization — and [reportedly] recently wrote “F–k Israel” in numerous posts supporting Hamas [in the aftermath of Hamas's surprise attack] .... Nejwa Al ... [reportedly] worked as a public affairs officer for the PLO’s delegation to the US in 2016 and 2017 .... She was hired at the USCIS in 2019 as an asylum officer and earlier this year was made an adjudication officer .... Ali [reportedly] has expressed ... support for Palestinian causes for years ...."
