Abortion Worse Than Slavery, and of a Bigger Magnitude; In U.S., Twice as Many Blacks Have Been Killed in the Womb by "Decriminalized" Abortion Than Total Number of Black Slaves

At the start of the American Civil War, there were nearly 4 million slaves in the United States, part of an all-time total of nearly 10 million.

Since 1973's Roe v. Wade decision, it has been estimated that more than 62 million surgical abortions alone have been performed in the United States.

By 2015, it already was estimated that, of those, 19 million surgical abortions were performed on Blacks. Since Blacks are impacted by abortion at a per capita rate several times that of Whites, those numbers would have continue to rise dramatically up to the present.

As a result, in the United States, essentially twice as many Blacks have been killed by abortion in their mother's wombs than the total number of Blacks who ever lived in slavery.

So abortion definitely has been of a greater magnitude than slavery, certainly overall, and specifically with regard to Blacks.

Yet since the primary purpose of slavery was not to kill or even torture, abortion, by definition, is far worse than slavery in its nature.

It may well be that there were human trafficiking victims, in forced labor, who ended up dying violently, having their lives shortened, or encountered violent pain. Yet, for the most part, that was not the purpose of their subjugation, by would-be "slave-owners" looking for forced labor for economic enrichment.

Abortion, by contrast, prenatal killing, has at its main object to killing of human life.

Some abortion methods have focused on killing human life using procedures that, by design, have dismembered or otherwise involving physical action that would be considered torture if carried out on any other human being. Concerned Americans also have voiced concerns that some large number of preborn children have been killed at a point in their development when they could feel pain.

The situation would be analogous to slave-traders who sole purpose was to whip people to death, or cut them up to kill them, in every instance, or poison them, or find some other way seeking to kill them every time. The goal of abortion is to kill, and abortion methods often have been gruesome.

So, for Black victims and all persons of any race or ethnicity subjected to prenatal killing, abortion clearly has been worse than slavery with regard to both its nature and its magnitude.
